Portrait Image Retouching.
This free selfie editing application lets you quickly and easily retouch your portrait photos. In particular, you can smooth your skin, reduce skin shine, whiten your teeth, apply eye makeup and much more.
The app also includes a set of interesting backgrounds and effects to decorate your selfies.
The downside is that the free version of the app shows a lot of ads, and there will be a branded hashtag at the bottom of your finished edited photo. However, you can always upgrade to the PRO version to avoid these drawbacks.
Think you’re not photogenic? In just one click, the Visage Lab app will help you smooth out your skin, remove red-eye effects, remove acne and shine from your face, and whiten your teeth!
Simply upload a portrait photo from the gallery or take a picture with the camera and in seconds you’ll see a transformed photo – without the effects of red eyes, pimples on the face, oily skin shine, and yellow teeth.
After the initial automatic portrait enhancement, you can play with the settings (exclude some options) and add a variety of artistic effects to the photo.
Among the effects are:
- stylization effects: black and white photo, sepia, photo on aged paper, vintage postcard and others;
- lighting effects: turn on rainbows, sunshine or mysterious night lighting;
- background substitution effects: add beautiful floral, natural or romantic surroundings to your photo;
- Color effects: warm retro tones, expressive HDR effect or dramatic dark colors.
Thanks to the use of an advanced algorithm for finding faces, the retouching process is fully automated. For example, the eyes found in the photo are scanned for the “red-eye” effect, and if it is detected, the color of the pupils is corrected. The skin of the face is segmented by the characteristic color, and the algorithm smoothes out skin irregularities and removes greasy shine and glare from the flash. Note that moles remain untouched in the process of eliminating skin imperfections. A portrait looks much better when the teeth and whites of the eyes are bleached, so the whitening function is implemented in the algorithm.
To make your skin look more tanned, and to make minor details take a back seat, apply the “Glamour” effect from the “Stylization” group.
At any time, you can compare before and after photos using the retouching algorithms. If you like the improved result, you can save it to your “Photo Film” album, post it to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or send it by E-mail directly from the app.
